Abstract :
The SURA coastal ocean observing and prediction (SCOOP) program is developing a network of sensors and linked computers as a part of fully integrating several observing systems in the southern region of the United States. This session is focused on highlighting lessons learned in the development of distributed collaborative research applications and gaining a better understanding of the needs for educational tools and capabilities for ocean and marine science.
