Abstract :
Focusing on the packet acquisition of UWB non-coherent system, a novel scheme is proposed in this article, which combines frame synchronization with signal acquisition and bit error probability (BEP) optimization together. Online signal to noise ratio (SNR) estimation is made for minimize BEP function after signal acquisition, combined with the search of optimal length of integral window. Experiments with Marker of 7 bits and 13 bits barker code respectively, demonstrate the constructed model, by Jump by K steps and Serial search algorithm individually. The results show that the proposed scheme improved significantly the BEP performance as well as packet acquisition performance.
