Abstract
The present study examined the relationships among work-family conflict (WFC), supervisor support and turnover intention in a Chinese manufacturing company setting with a sample of 166 frontline employees. Hierarchical linear regression analyses demonstrated that turnover intention was negatively associated with supervisor support but positively associated with one of two sub dimensions of WFC, namely, work interfering with family (WIF). The study also revealed that supervisor support moderated the effects of WIF on employees´ turnover intention.
