Abstract :
Mobility is widely expected to be one of the major driving forces for the evolution and deployment of INs (Intelligent Networks) in the ´90s. A decade which will also witness an unprecedented level of competition between network operators in the UK and which will have a particularly strong focus on the delivery of all forms of personal communication services. It is essential that IN platforms not only provide network operators with the basic mechanics for mobility, but that they also provide them with two of the key ingredients for success in the competitive market place-service velocity and service differentiation
