Abstract
The problem of asymptotic stability analysis of periodic solutions in pulsewidth-modulated (PWM) feedback control systems incorporating forced commutated power converters, is considered. As an example, the stability analysis of periodic solutions in PWM DC voltage regulators is investigated, and the regions of asymptotic stability of the periodic solution on the planes of certain regulator parameters are estimated. The approach used is based on the first and the second Lyapunov methods. The results obtained can be effective when used for the qualitative analysis and design of PWM feedback control systems incorporating forced commutated converters
