Abstract :
In this paper, we propose an efficient antenna selection algorithm for wireless MIMO systems with low computational complexity especially when calculating the channel capacity. Our method achieves similar capacity as that of the G-circles algorithm, which is a little lower than that of the optimal antenna selection technique. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed antenna selection algorithm achieves high performance in terms of bit error rate (BER).
