  • Abstract
    We propose an OFDM system with the guard interval and the simple one-tap equalizer bank under the two-ray multipath channel for the wireless-LAN. The simple one-tap equalizer bank is necessary to support the required BER, 10/sup -5/ under the two-ray multipath channel with the mean of the second-ray´s attenuation coefficient, E[/spl alpha/]=0.25, and the normalized frequency offset, which is normalized about the subcarrier tone spacing, /spl Delta/fTs/spl les/10%.
