Abstract
The finite spectrum assignment problem for delay-differential systems is studied by reducing it to a poles assignment problem for systems with coefficients in a ring. This allows us to find some new results concerning the solvability of the problem, independently from the value of the delays, by means of dynamic and nonpredictive feedbacks
