Abstract :
A new method for computing the cut-off wavelengths of (multi)-ridged waveguides is derived using modal analysis. The method Is straightforward and does not have the restrictions that exist in modeling ridged waveguides by transmission lines. The proposed method is superior to the existing transmission line technique when applied to multi-ridged waveguides partially filled with dielectric
