Abstract :
A new type of small broadband antennas easily integrated on handsets is presented. Their integration on handsets can be very easy. Designed for transmission or reception in the S band (1885/2025 MHz (transmit band) and 2110/2200 MHz (receive band)), where new services will be soon available, these antennas are inserted on handsets simulated by metallic boxes. Their characterization (return loss and far field patterns) are given, taking into account the hand-held telephone isolated in space. Compact circular antennas have been developed for satellite mobile links
