Abstract :
An UWB slot antenna with a floating back plane is presented. The last is intended for antenna desensitization from the strong influence of the body proximity in Body Area Network radio links. The effect is demonstrated by comparison with other monopole-like or dipole-like UWB antennas (without any backplane) placed on the body.
