Abstract :
An edge-element time-domain (ee-td) method for solving Maxwell´s equations is developed. Marching equations for the rectangular cells and triangular cylinders are derived. When used in conjunction with the fd-td method, the stair-casing approximation for curved boundaries is eliminated, resulting in less memory needed.<>
