Abstract
National Grid Transco (NGT) operates complex energy networks, and is focused on energy delivery and infrastructure, operating the major part of Britain´s gas transmission and distribution systems and the high-voltage electricity transmission system in England and Wales. NGTs core skills lie in the design, development, operation and maintenance of complex energy networks within performance-based regulatory frameworks, and manage these networks to the highest standards of safety, reliability and customer service. NGTs business relies on high-tech and innovative engineering solutions to improve the reliability, availability and capacity of the networks.
