Abstract :
The paper concerns the situation in radio communications when almost the full information about the manipulated desired signal is available, excluding only the manipulating sequence itself. The method proposed is to solve the least squares problem where the reference signal is expressed as a linear combination of the known signals with unknown coefficients, which are adaptively tuned simultaneously with the spatial filtering weights. The method may be used for intersymbol interference cancellation in multipath channels as well as in the case of the noisy interference
