We find there are four stages in the process of knowledge diffusion among teachers and students in local universities and each stage is influenced by different factors. A conceptual model about the factors that effect knowledge diffusion among teachers and students in local universities is proposed As we have studied the QianLi IT institute in a college of Economics and Management, we have a empirical analysis of the factors affecting knowledge diffusion, and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the knowledge diffusion in local colleges.
