Abstract :
This paper deals with Compressive Domain Decomposition for Integral Equation methods; it starts from an overview encompassing computational aspects like parallel- and grid-computing. The DD paradigm is then analyzed in terms of overall computational requirements in association with fast factorizations; ways out to avoid bottlenecks are outlined.
