Abstract :
The development of an S-band transmitter (TX), for use in the Companion Satellite (BX-1) in SZ-7 flight mission, is described. Based on the direct modulation technology, innovative structure design and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design, the low mass and compact size is achieved while offering uncompromised performance. The mass of the S-band transmitter is 1.624kg, the size is 175.26mm ×176.32mm × 42.50mm and the power consumption is 26.92W. According to the successful on-orbit demonstration, the method is proved to be feasible and reliable.
