Abstract :
Exact model matching method can not be used for a system having unstable zeros since unstable pole-zero cancellations occur in the overall systems. We propose an approximate cancellation of anti-stable zeros instead of exact cancellations. For this, we show a design method of approximate polynomials for the inverse of anti-stable polynomials using Taylor´s expansion. Then, we show a design of model following control systems for a plant having unstable zeros based on the pole placement scheme
