  • Abstract
Virtual prototyping technology provides increasingly effective support to improve the car´s handling and stability. Micro-sports vehicle is as the research object. In order to enhance automobile´s handling stability, using ADAMS/Car precisely to establish virtual prototype model of mini sport car, through three dimensional coordinate graphic to measure a same type of car. Then carries on the steering wheel corner step-input simulation testing and changes vehicles design parameter to analyze the effect of the handling stability of vehicle. The results of simulation testing indicate: lowering and moving backward of mass center, increasing the stiffness of the front suspension, no loading and increasing the trailing wheel side leaning rigidity can improve the transient characteristics of vehicle, and then improve the handling stability of vehicle.
