Abstract
A new universal technique of microwave network complex reflection coefficient measurement based on the solution of the (N+2)-port equations by the maximum likelihood method is proposed. The expressions for the measurement errors are obtained in a linear approximation. It is shown that the measurement accuracy grows with the increase in the number of measurement ports
