  • Abstract
In this paper, the author presents the probabilistic concept of voltage electrical distance, and clearly demonstrates the central role in classification selection of subsystems for voltage control and as a measure of the uncertainty in the voltage variation in proximity to nonmonitored nodes. The author believes that this concept may find application in areas, and further researches are leading to definition of a distance for transient stability
