Abstract :
We are currently developing a 125 Mbps optical wireless module for a proposed infrared-based IEEE 1394/S100 system. So as to avoid the affect of reflections, the module is implemented IEEE 1394 arbitration for a half-duplex optical link between the transmitter and receiver. One possibility is to develop a compact module for future use in handheld equipment.
