Abstract :
It is well known that data compression is such a method for the case that the function expression of an image can not be obtained. To get rid of the traditional method of data compression, a new method is proposed for the storage, processing and transmission of image data through some additive fuzzy systems in this paper. This new method is completely different from the traditional one. It uses function approximations for several different types of image blocks instead of for a whole image. The ultimate simulation results show that this new method has obvious advantages over the traditional method and has achieved the desired purpose.
