Abstract :
A method of obtaining the time-domain response of a linear network is given. In this method, the circuit equations are formulated using the simple modified nodal approach. The method requires the calculations of the initial conditions X(0+) for the variables of interest. A simple algorithm for finding the initial conditions from the circuit description is proposed, and the results of the time-domain simulation of two example networks, using the resulting initial conditions, are provided
