Abstract :
The performance of a 4-QAM radio communication system with and without linear adaptive equalizer is evaluated for data rates of up to 20 Mbit/s and buildings with multipath spreads of up to 200 ns. The influence of signaling pulse rolloff factor and additive, white Gaussian noise is studied. The error probability is used as the performance criterion. Results obtained by computer simulation are plotted and discussed
