Abstract :
A new filter design method for an auto focus is proposed which can be implemented into a simple hardware. The proposed auto focus filter can be implemented without multipliers. Therefore, we can sharply reduce the number of filter coefficients by the proposed design method. The proposed filter design method is simulated and tested by our hardware system.
