Abstract
In this paper, the outage probability and spectral efficiency of distributed opportunistic incremental decode-and-forward (DOIDF) are investigated. We derive the closed-form expressions for the outage probability and spectral efficiency including direct link at arbitrary SNR (signal to noise ratio) regime over independence-non-identical (inid) fading channels. Computer simulation results show that spectral efficiency of DOIDF outperforms the opportunistic relay scheme.
