Abstract :
Paper addresses concept of steganography in speech signal with the help of post encoder information hiding in coded domain that hides information in excitation codebook structure which is based on Algebraic Code Excited Linear Prediction (ACELP). Information hiding is achieved by computation of optimal excitation codevector with the help of least significant pulse replacement. Apart from information hiding in excitation codevector, a Pivot pulse position technique can be used in assigning less number of bits in encoding of excitation codvector and also ordering positions of codeword so that it eases the requirement of decoding of excitation codevector at decoder.
