Abstract :
Ice-shedding from transmission lines often causes violent vibration in power system and generally reduces the phase-to-phase clearance, even leads to inter phase flashover and the destruction of structure. A sensing method on binocular vision theory is presented to solve the problems caused by ice-shedding of wire lines in measuring the vibration, and a mathematical model of three-dimensional coordinate measurement is established. The binocular vision system calibration method based on standard-length is used to solve the mathematical model and the three-dimensional geometric information has been restored. In the experiment, the binocular vision measurement system is established and the results indicate that the measuring system is both simple in structure and convenient for the vibration measurement of the wire lines ice-shedding.
