Abstract
This paper is focused on the issue of pointwise (E.W. Kamen et al., 1984) or (strong) delay-independent (S.I. Niculescu et al., 1996) stabilization of linear delay systems with commensurate delays. A criterion using a linear matrix inequalities (LMI) formulation is proposed which is sufficient to have this property. Necessity is conjectured
