  • Abstract
    The latest progress and the research direction on reducing computation error of periodic signal measurement are simply introduced firstly. The reason of computation error is analyzed in detail. Modified trapezoidal integral method is proposed to measure active power, which based on asynchronous sampled data. The method can reach an inerrable result. By computer simulation based on the new method, two examples are simulated, and the results are compared with other methods. The simulation results show that the new algorithm is capable of reducing the computation error effectually and computational complexity has little increased.
