Abstract :
The importance of developing partial discharge (PD) databases to support partial discharge evaluation during periodic off-line inspections of HV components is discussed. Examples are shown based on advanced PD analyses of different HV components: power transformers and reactors, different turbogenerators and typical defects for SF6 gas insulated systems
