Abstract
Multi-core technology is becoming the mainstream of processor architecture. It is a great challenge for universities to offer students new theories because of the continuous changes in multi-core field. Different approaches are adopted as the solutions. Teachers play very important role in teaching multi-core curriculum in these approaches. However, how to train good teachers for multi-core curriculum is the key issue to improve the teaching of multi-core curriculum. In this paper, a special program is proposed to educate the educators for multi-core curriculum via special training and workshop. In this program, planned training and workshop are held in different universities, and through these activities, multi-core technology can be explained in details, and it will provide open courseware and teaching materials. The teachers can share their experience in teaching multi-core curriculum. More than 900 teachers have joined in these training and workshop and more than 150 universities in China have benefited from them.
