Abstract
In order to analyze the contribution of energy saving and emission reducing of Wujiang seven cascade reservoirs optimal regulation, the energy saving and emission reducing optimal regulation model of the Wujiang seven cascade reservoirs is established and the contribution of energy saving and emission reducing of Wujiang seven cascade reservoirs optimal operation is revealed The result indicates that the Wujiang seven cascade reservoirs saving standard coal energy multi-year average 171.126 million ton and reducing CO2 emission multi-year average 342.252 million ton in long-mid term. The paper once again demonstrates the significant contribution to energy saving and emission reducing of large-scale hydropower projects, providing reference for our nation´s water and power pricing policy-making and Wujiang seven cascade reservoirs compensation.
