Abstract :
To search polymorphic biallelic markers on human Y chromosome in Chinese Shandong Han population, calculate their allele and haplogroup frequency, and to obtain their population genetic data are reported. Genotyping of 5 biallelic markers on human Y chromosome (M9, M89, M95, M122, M134) were carried out in a sample of 302 unrelated Chinese male individuals living in Shandong using fragment length discrepant allele specific PCR (FLDAS-PCR) and PAGE technique. Genetic polymorphism were identified for all 5 biallelic markers in Shandong Han population, and the ranges of gene diversity (GD) were 0.1240 - 0.4973. A total of 6 different haplogroups were observed. The 5 Y chromosome biallelic markers selected have relatively large diversity in Shandong Han population. The 6 haplogroups have significant distribution in Shandong Han population.
