Abstract
The CMMB (China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting) rural information platform provides farmers with a new, fast, and comprehensive information transmission channels. The text introduces a method of rural information platform construction based on CMMB. China´s present Rural Information station and problems are given and the role of rural information platform is designed. The CMMB network coverage and the rural information platform structure are introduced. At last, the conclusion is given.
