Abstract :
The anti-overturning performance of foundation is very important to the safe operation of wind turbine. In this paper, the reliability method is used to study the anti-overturning performance of gravity foundation of wind turbine. By analysis of limit state of foundation under overturning moment, performance function of reliability analysis of foundation is established. JC method is used to calculate anti-overturning reliability index of foundation. In order to accelerate the convergence speed, Newton Iteration Method is introduced. Effect of foundation dimension to reliability is analyzed.
