Abstract
The goal of this study is to develop a fuel cell model which is capable of characterizing fuel cell steady-state performance as well as transient behavior. With the combination of an empirical model and an electrical circuit model, the proposed model exhibits good agreement with experiment results in steady-state and dynamic performance. Model parameter identification is analyzed in detail. Compared to the complicated physical models, this model is simple, easy to use and still hold good correlation to the experiment results.
