Abstract :
The single-core cable is used in production logging to achieve data transmission between the surface and the underground. However, for the narrow band of the single-core cable, using the traditional base-band modulation, transfer rate is very difficult to rise. Lower transfer rate limits the development of underground equipments. This paper analyzes the characteristics of single-core cable, combined with the actual situation of production logging, based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, we design high-speed logging data transmission system and improve the bandwidth efficiency, so it is a kind of ideal data transmission for production logging. The system can realize the transmission rate of 115kbps or more in the 7,000 meters Camesa anti-hydrogen sulfide single-core cable. In laboratory conditions, the system withstands the test of high temperature for two hours. The system is stable and lays a solid foundation to test in the well site.
