  • Abstract
The Crane-umbrella Communication Jammer has become an important communication jamming equipment. During the interference process, the single jammer can cover a circular area and multiple jammers can be distributed to cover the target area without any vacancy, but it´s a complex problem to distribute the jammers to use the least quantities of jammers, cover the maximal area and receive the signals of the strongest power. In this essay, not only is a genetic algorithm used to solve the problem of the optimum distribution and the coverage of the crane-umbrella communication jammers, in which encoding scheme based on the jammer coordinates is adopted and crossover operation is performed with the simplex crossover operators and a self-adapting operator is designed to realize the mutation operation, but also the simulation of the algorithm has been given through selecting the typical parameters. The result of simulation indicates that the algorithm can solve the problem of the jammers distribution and on the other hand the algorithm has been provided with good astringency and stability.
