Abstract :
In this paper, a method of eliminating specified harmonics based waveform resultant theory in cascaded multilevel inverter is given, the proposed technique avoids solving the multi-variable high-order equation system. Basic idea and deduction procedure is explained, the equation of eliminating specified harmonics finally can be converted into the product of two cosines and the number of unknown switching angles is only two. The different choice of switching angles can also adjust the fundamental voltage while eliminating specified harmonics. Simulation and experiment results are given as a verification of the strategy
