Abstract :
ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) PIN (personal identification number) pad is essential in bank. At present, DES (Data Encryption Standard), RSA (public key encryption algorithm), DUKPT (Derived Unique Key per Transaction) etc encryption algorithm was applied in the ATM PIN Pad. In the paper, a PIN Pad system is designed based on 3DES encryption algorithm, and the exception handling is added in the PIN Pad (such as: jitter, command coverage, the wrong password more than three times). The experimental results demonstrate feasibility of designed system.
