Abstract :
A comparison between two image reconstruction techniques is established. A Bayesian approach using a priori Markov fields was first implemented, and at the same time, a direct inversion resolution method was studied: the QR algorithm with a Tikhonov regularization. The aim of this paper is to compare abilities and limitations of both methods applied to emission tomography. The conclusion was that constraint introduction and flexibility lead to preference of the probabilistic approach
