Abstract :
The impacts of Coriolis force and background current on vertical constructure of internal waves are presented here using three simulation experiments. The results show that depression nonlinear internal waves(NIWs) westerly happen when M2 flood tidal current crosses marine ridge, and some NIWs may cross the marine ridge easterly with M2 ebb tidal current; Considering Coriolis force, there is similar vertical structure with upside and smaller amplitude of the density profile; Proposing the background current equal to 0.3 m/s, no NIWs appear at right of the ridge because a strong leftward background current declines the rightward internal wave and a strong disturbed mix takes place at the left of the marine ridge.
