Abstract :
Presents a new routing algorithm specifically tailored for a network composed of interconnected FDDI LANs. The algorithm discussed uses the minimum number of hops as the criteria for routing packets. It is shown that minimising the number of hops encountered by the packets will be the most significant factor in reducing the overall delay experienced
