Abstract :
Based on the requirements of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) system, the Body Impedance Measurement plays a very important role in the AED system. We choose the function generator, whose main chip is MAX038, the range of the signal´s frequency can be 0.1Hz~2MHz when the signal goes through an external resistor and capacitor net. Then the Voltage-Controlled Current Source (VCCS) can convert the voltage signal to current signal used to go through the body to measure. This paper focus on the hardware design of the Body Impedance Measurement system, according to the experiments, the design is easy and effective.
