  • Abstract
Electric vehicles, are generally acknowledged as a good solution to environmental pollution as well as energy resource shortage. However, as an infant industry, it faces many queries and challenges. In this paper, we establish an Analytic Hierarchy Process Model to analyze the feasibility of the widespread use of electric vehicles. At the same time, we also discuss the impacts it brings to the environment, economy, society and health and the key factors the government and vehicle manufactures should pay great attention to. Finally we come into a conclusion that the countries prefer environmental priorities strategy should introduce electric vehicles and consider the factors such as toxic gas, battery pollution and government input. This paper has practical meanings and consultations for further development of transportation.
