Abstract
Summary form only given. Several long-pulse and CW gyrotron oscillators for magnetic fusion applications are currently under development at CPI. The gyrotrons, operating at 84 GHz, 110 GHz, and 140 GHz, have several common features including diode magnetron injection guns, internal mode converters to produce a Gaussian output mode, and edge cooled chemical-vapor deposition (CVD) diamond windows. Brief descriptions of other features of the gyrotrons are provided.
