  • Abstract
VEINUS, a handheld medical device designed to streamline application of peripheral intravascular therapies by easing the process of blood vessel location is introduced. Employing differential Doppler ultrasound techniques, and digital signal processing (DSP) the device makes the process of locating veins and arteries visual, expedient, and convenient.
