Abstract
This study is based on a Chinese state sponsored program “State Sponsored Graduate Scholarship Program for Building High-Level Universities” to find out the influencing factors of decision-making for study abroad in selecting a host university. The descriptive statistic method and Chi-Square Test were used to analyze the data. The findings present that the academic level and research field of a supervisor are highly impact the students´ decision-making to study abroad in selecting a host university. University factors are also very important. The findings also indicated that some demographic characteristics did not influence the students´ intention of applying this program to study abroad.
